Saint Denis Has a New Vampire Problem, and Angelo Bronte Is Behind It

Saint Denis has never been the safest place to wander after dark. Between its back alleys, corrupt officials, and criminal organizations hiding behind respectable appearances, Red Dead Redemption 2's sprawling industrial city has plenty of ways to get an unsuspecting visitor into trouble. Rockstar even tucked an actual vampire into its streets, one of the stranger secrets waiting to be discovered in Arthur Morgan's world. The mod’s creator apparently decided that one creature of the night wasn't nearly enough, turning Angelo Bronte and several members of his criminal circle into vampires with the aptly named Vampire Mafia.
The mod transforms Bronte, Guido Martelli, Luca Napoli, Bronte's butler, and the ordinary gangsters working beneath them, giving Saint Denis' established criminal hierarchy a supernatural makeover. It's a particularly fitting collection of characters, considering Bronte's position as one of the city's wealthiest and most intimidating figures. The creator describes additional scenery and decorations at Bronte's mansion and the Saint Denis cemetery, along with secrets whose precise locations still need verification. Both locations already play memorable roles in the game's fourth chapter, particularly when Arthur and John find themselves navigating the graveyard during their dealings with Bronte.
There's also a clever connection to Saint Denis' existing vampire encounter. The creator includes optional replacements that allow players to encounter Bronte himself, Guido Martelli, or a tuxedo-wearing version of the original vampire. Martelli's option is intended for John's epilogue, extending the supernatural theme beyond Bronte's own storyline. The described options connect familiar characters to the existing vampire encounter; the available evidence does not establish how, if at all, they affect campaign missions.
What gives Vampire Mafia its personality is how comfortably the idea fits the world Rockstar already created. Saint Denis feels worlds removed from the dusty frontier, with its grand mansions, crowded streets, wealthy aristocrats, and criminals who operate behind expensive suits and political connections. Bronte hardly needs supernatural powers to be a frightening character, and turning his organization into a literal vampire mafia plays into that atmosphere without requiring the entire game to become a horror adventure. The creator documents an LML installation path and a Spooner/AutoLoad path within RampageFiles; the functional requirements of each path have not been independently established.
For players who enjoy revisiting Red Dead Redemption 2's stranger corners, Vampire Mafia offers a fresh perspective on characters and locations they already know. Bronte's mansion becomes a more sinister place to explore, the cemetery receives additional themed scenery, and the city's original vampire encounter takes on a connection to its criminal underworld. Rockstar's version of Saint Denis already had plenty of monsters hiding in plain sight. The mod gives a few of them the appearance to match.
