Red Dead Redemption 2's Simple Realism takes another look at the American frontier

Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of those games where you can spend an unreasonable amount of time doing absolutely nothing productive. Find a nice spot by a lake, watch the clouds roll past, listen to the birds, and suddenly you've forgotten there was an actual mission you were supposed to complete two hours ago.
GusTheWaffleMaker's Simple Realism is aimed at players who want a slightly different look for all that scenery. It's a ReShade preset that adjusts color grading, sharpening, contrast, and shadows toward what the creator considers a more natural presentation.

The supplied before-and-after screenshots give you a direct look at the differences, which is useful because this sort of visual preference is entirely subjective. There's no new lighting engine or replacement texture library here, and no independently verified performance figures. Just a different way to appreciate a world that's already pretty damn easy to get lost in.
