Arthur Morgan can carry a remarkable amount of equipment, but sometimes it's the humble lantern that causes the most unnecessary fuss. Kazzy's Stash That Lantern - Relit has been making that familiar piece of frontier equipment easier to manage, allowing players to stow it on their character, place it on the ground, and adjust certain lighting options. The new 1.6 update adds another particularly useful position: the front of Arthur's gun belt. It's a small touch, but one that feels right at home in a game famous for caring about where practically every piece of equipment belongs.

The update also improves compatibility with Stagecoaches Restored, allowing the horses pulling stagecoach taxis to use nighttime lanterns more appropriately. Kazzy has been rebuilding and refining the project independently from the older mod that inspired it, so this isn't simply another update from the original author. Some reported lantern-disappearance and control quirks remain under investigation rather than being established as fixed in 1.6. Still, there's a certain charm to a mod whose entire mission is making sure a cowboy can put his lantern somewhere sensible and get on with his evening.
