Red Dead Redemption 2's Pack Horse Gives Arthur Somewhere to Stash His Extra Guns

Arthur Morgan can carry a small arsenal on his horse, but there's one thing Red Dead Redemption 2 doesn't handle particularly well: owning multiple copies of the same gun. Maybe you've got a favorite revolver you've spent a fortune customizing, but you'd also like another with a completely different setup. The game's existing weapon storage doesn't give you much freedom there.
Pack Horse, from modder Vazagal, adds a separate weapon stash that lets you keep duplicate firearms without losing their individual gunsmith upgrades. You can access it while riding or standing beside your horse, and the collection stays available between sessions. It starts with ten storage slots, although you can increase that limit or remove it entirely.
There's a catch worth knowing. The stash is shared across your saves rather than belonging to each playthrough, and you'll need to put away a weapon you're carrying before retrieving another copy of the same type. Throwables and tools aren't supported, either.
Still, we can see the appeal for anyone who's spent way too long at the gunsmith deciding which engraving looks best on a revolver. Now you can keep a few different versions around instead of committing to one. Arthur might be an outlaw on the run, but apparently there's always room for another customized firearm in the saddlebag.
