Building an entire settlement in Fallout 4 can take an afternoon of real-world tinkering while barely disturbing the Commonwealth's clock. Settlement Labor changes that relationship. Construction and scrapping accumulate in-game labor time, which advances when you leave workshop mode. A tiny adjustment might cost nothing, while larger projects can consume hours of your settlement's day.

The interesting part is that your settlers can help. A workforce drawn from settlement population and assigned builders reduces the time required, giving those extra hands a practical purpose. Survival needs advance along with the clock, so a major construction session can leave your character hungry, thirsty, or exhausted. The mod requires Fallout 4's Anniversary Edition runtime 1.11.240, F4SE, and MCM, making it a deliberate choice for players who want settlement construction to feel more consequential.
