Stardew Valley's SDV++ has a whole bunch of little conveniences you didn't know you wanted

There's a particular kind of Stardew Valley mod that doesn't try to reinvent the farm. It just looks at all those tiny annoyances you've learned to live with and starts quietly fixing them, one by one.

Red Socket's SDV++ is very much that kind of project. We're talking bigger silos, shared wood storage for crafting, sprinkler and scarecrow range previews, birthday celebrations for your farmer, safeguards against accidental gifts, and new minecart stops at the Beach and Cindersap Forest. You can even pause time while decorating, subject to some co-op conditions. Everything is individually switchable, which is good news if you love one feature but would rather leave the others alone. Recent updates have also added garden-pot watering and addressed loading issues, although Android remains untested. There are a couple of things to know before uninstalling, particularly around upgraded silos and stacked fishing tackle, so it's worth reading the creator's instructions. Still, this is the kind of collection that makes you realize just how many tiny farm chores you've been doing the hard way.
