Shopping Festival gives Stardew Valley an autumn day of bargains and town activities

Pierre is about to have a very busy day.

Shopping Festival, from zzzzzzzhao, turns Pelican Town into an annual autumn marketplace, complete with decorated streets, twelve participating vendors, special activities, and discounts. Regular shop inventories get a 30% price reduction, while a stamp-collecting system rewards players for visiting shops and taking part in festival challenges.

The event takes place on Fall 11, with familiar faces including Robin, Clint, Marnie, Gus, and even Krobus getting involved. There are mystery bags, special bundles, food tastings, and other little diversions to keep the day from feeling like one enormous shopping trip.

Although, let's be fair... if somebody's offering discounted supplies in Stardew Valley, some of us are absolutely showing up with an inventory full of gold and very little self-control.
