Stardew Valley’s Wonderful Wings lets your farmer show off a little

Life on a Stardew Valley farm is already full of opportunities to express yourself, but apparently the perfect outfit isn’t complete until you’ve grown a pair of wings. Jolamods’ Wonderful Wings introduces eight animated designs ranging from delicate fairy and butterfly styles to darker raven, dragon, and mechanical-inspired creations. Each design has its own movement animations, so your farmer can wander through Pelican Town looking considerably more magical than the average person heading out to water their parsnips.

These wings are strictly cosmetic. They won’t help you fly over the farm, outrun an irritated villager, or improve your chances in the mines. They’re simply another way to give your character a little personality, with designs that work across the game’s normal walking directions and animations. The creator has also provided several language versions, although alternative body proportions may need adjustments. Sometimes a mod doesn’t need to change the rules of a game. Sometimes it just needs to make your farmer look fabulous.
