PelipperShowdown brings turn-based Pokémon battles to Stardew Valley

Pelipper Town brings Pokémon into Stardew Valley's world. PelipperShowdown gives players a much bigger reason to take them out for a spin. The companion add-on introduces turn-based wild encounters and trainer battles, mid-battle catching, gyms and a collection of 58 badges. It's a playful shift from having Pokémon around the farm to building an adventure around battling them.

The project is still developing. Multiplayer hasn't been tested, and gym NPCs aren't fully configured yet, so the feature list shouldn't be mistaken for a finished Pokémon campaign. Even with those limits, the new battle layer gives Pelipper Town a different kind of momentum beyond collecting familiar creatures.
