Stardew Valley's Pelipper Town turns villagers into a weekly Pokémon battle circuit

Your next Stardew Valley social call could end in a Pokémon battle. Pelipper Town's new VS Seeker gives 142 villagers across the base game and supported expansions their own teams, with four battle tiers and weekly rematches. A Battle Journal tracks your wins, turning the familiar village routine into a surprisingly extensive trainer circuit.

Version 1.2.0 also adds several Pokémon, improves team choices and move selection, and introduces Combat XP from wild battles. The important distinction is that these are full-team fights, with the next healthy Pokémon stepping in when one falls. It's a crossover update built around returning to familiar faces for a fresh challenge.
