More than 120 crop traits shake up Stardew Valley farming

Stardew Valley's crops are already a dependable source of income, but Crop Traits makes growing them a little less predictable. PeacefulEnd's mod introduces more than 120 traits that can appear through random mutations, giving farmers new discoveries to watch for as their fields develop. Newly mutated plants can sparkle, while a guidebook helps players learn about the traits they've uncovered.
Those discoveries can also become part of a longer experiment. Nearby crops may pass traits to others of the same type, while a Seed Splicer offers more deliberate combinations later in the farming progression. The mod requires Parchment and introduces a new layer of experimentation without replacing Stardew Valley's familiar planting and harvesting routine. It's an appealing addition for anyone who likes the idea of treating their farm as an ongoing breeding project.
