As if the Mojave didn't already offer enough questionable ways to gamble away your money, somebody has decided the Courier should be able to wager on how quickly they can move a knife between their fingers.

Five Finger Fillet, created by Luke2172, brings the classic knife minigame to Fallout: New Vegas, with five locations where players can practice or put their caps on the line. Bigger wagers increase the difficulty, so the temptation to chase a larger payout comes with a greater chance of making a mess of your performance.

The mod includes controller support, customizable challenges, and statistics for tracking your attempts. Your equipped armor also remains visible during the minigame, which is a nice detail for players who've spent considerable time getting their Courier's appearance just right.

You're betting on your own performance rather than competing against another character, and a Tale of Two Wastelands patch hasn't been released.

We have to admit, this feels right at home in New Vegas. Between the casinos, caravan games, and all the other ways the Mojave separates people from their money, a little knife gambling fits the setting rather well. Just don't get too confident after a successful practice round.
