UI Remastered Edition rethinks the screen in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Most interface mods rearrange what a game already shows you. UI Remastered Edition, a new project from KirillKonq for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, is more interested in how much of it needs to be on screen at all. Navigation moves to a compass that can track your current quest, the minimap becomes optional, and the persistent clutter around the edges of the screen is dialed back, so more of Novigrad and less of its furniture is in front of you while you ride.
The map is where the thinking shows. It opens full screen, with filters in the legend, tooltips that give a quest's recommended level before you commit to the journey, and four numbered, colored pins you can drop yourself. Picture the ride it is meant to save you from: crossing Velen to reach a contract, arriving, and only then learning it was meant for a much stronger Geralt. The tooltip is there so that discovery happens on the map instead.
