The Weeping Plague gives Geralt another mess to investigate in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Geralt can't seem to travel through Velen without somebody conducting an experiment they absolutely shouldn't be conducting.

The Weeping Plague, a new quest from dragoncat2129, involves a scientist who's been meddling with nature and has apparently created a monster that's now making life considerably worse for the surrounding countryside. Players can begin investigating by finding a corpse outside the tower on Fyke Isle, which, considering that island's history, sounds like an appropriately unpleasant place to start.

The creator recommends level 10 and lists the quest as compatible with the remastered game. It's a smaller adventure rather than some enormous new campaign, but there's always room for another mysterious creature and another terrible decision for Geralt to clean up.
