Weighted Parries gives Geralt more ways to hold his ground in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Geralt has fought just about every horrible creature imaginable, but there are still moments when his defensive options feel a little restrictive. Particularly when something enormous is charging toward him and the game has decided that attempting to parry it is simply not happening.
Liludev's Weighted Parries gives combat a more flexible defensive system, allowing players to block and counter heavy human attacks and ordinary monster strikes that previously offered fewer options. Timing matters, too. A properly executed parry avoids damage without consuming stamina, while holding a regular block gradually drains your reserves. Run out at the wrong moment and your guard breaks... which is probably not the outcome you were hoping for with a monster breathing down your neck.
The mod is built for the remastered version of The Witcher 3, and larger monsters require a separate setting before the expanded blocking rules apply to them. Certain boss attacks remain deliberately unblockable, so don't expect to stand there casually deflecting everything the Continent throws at you. Geralt is good, but he's not that good.
