Vortex's Health Check points modded setups toward missing dependencies
A missing dependency can derail a modlist long after everything else looks ready. Vortex 2.6's planned Health Check aims to catch that earlier by looking at requirements for individual installed files, not just the mod pages they came from. Nexus Mods says it can flag missing files, incompatible versions and downloads that haven't been installed.
The warnings are designed to link back to relevant mod pages, with one-click dependency installation for Premium users. The system still depends on requirements declared by mod authors, so it won't diagnose every broken setup. The announcement describes a useful improvement to dependency management, not a guarantee that every load order can fix itself.
