A storybook road through Skyrim

A winding Skyrim road can do a lot to sell the mood of an entire landscape. Xaggoz’s Northern Roads Retexture gives the overhaul’s paths a colorful, painterly finish designed for the Skyrim Fabled Edition look, trading muted realism for something closer to an illustrated adventure.
This changes textures, not where roads run or how they play. Northern Roads itself is required, and the new files need priority over other textures replacing the same surfaces. The creator’s screenshots also use additional visual mods, including optional cel shading, so the full pictured look isn’t included in this download.
