You can finally tell Gilar "NO" in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Not every request in Morrowind deserves an enthusiastic "Of course, I'll get right on that." Particularly when somebody is asking you to kill someone. ProfessorBoondoggle's wonderfully direct Tell Gilar Verelnim NO gives players a way to refuse Gilar Verelnim's assignments in Tamriel Rebuilt's Unwelcome Guest and Garden Cleaning quests without bringing their progress through House Indoril to a halt. It's a small dialogue adjustment, but one that addresses a familiar role-playing frustration: being forced to agree to something your character would never willingly do.
There is a consequence, and it's a fair one. Refusing the assignments means giving up their rewards, rather than receiving payment for work you declined to perform. The mod is designed around Tamriel Rebuilt and also works with OpenMW according to ProfessorBoondoggle. It doesn't introduce an entirely new questline or rewrite House Indoril's story. It simply gives players another meaningful way to respond when a quest giver assumes their moral objections are negotiable.
