Minecraft's Create: Solarpunk Adds a Particle Accelerator and Overhauls Fusion Power

Building a working Particle Accelerator in Minecraft sounds like the sort of project that could keep an ambitious factory builder occupied for quite a while. Especially when making the ring bigger actually changes what you're capable of producing.
Create: Solarpunk has released a major update introducing a rotationally powered Particle Accelerator that produces advanced materials, including tritium fuel capsules. Larger accelerator rings can unlock rarer outputs, giving players a reason to think about the scale of their machinery rather than simply building the smallest version that works.
Those tritium capsules also feed into changes elsewhere in the mod. The Fusion Reactor now uses them as fuel, while higher-tier crafting has been reworked around Create's mechanical crafting and assembly systems. For players who enjoy designing elaborate production lines, there's a much stronger connection between the machines they build and the resources needed to keep everything running.
There's also optional integration with Cosmonautics, introducing solar equipment that responds to the sun's position, shadows, and lunar cycles.
One thing worth considering before upgrading an existing factory: the update changes several crafting recipes and identifiers, so older modpack configurations may need attention. The release targets Minecraft Java 1.21.1 with NeoForge.
Create: Solarpunk was already interested in bringing more elaborate energy systems into Minecraft. With particle acceleration feeding fusion power, its latest update gives players another substantial engineering challenge to work toward.
