A convincing ruined city needs more than tall buildings. The Lost Cities' latest Minecraft 26.2 beta pays attention to the roads, bridges, rail lines and uneven ground that connect everything together. New bridge and highway supports, adjustable railway spacing and gentler station slopes aim to make the generated world feel less like disconnected chunks of scenery.

The update also tackles broken highway sections and awkward terrain transitions, while exposing city-style information for other mods through its API. These changes are still part of the beta 26.2 branch for NeoForge and Fabric, so players should treat them as a look at the project's evolving world generation rather than its established stable release.
