Even modded walls can muffle your voice in Minecraft

A modded wall shouldn't sound like thin air just because Minecraft's proximity-chat system doesn't recognize its material. Voice Physics now lets server administrators assign acoustic behavior to custom blocks, improving how voices are muffled by unusual doors, walls and decorative pieces.
The update also adds an audit screen for server changes, with player filtering and undo, plus diagnostics that explain why a voice is reaching someone at a particular volume. For servers built from many mods, these tools make voice chat easier to tune and troubleshoot without guessing at what's happening behind the scenes.
