A sharper Mojave comes with a performance claim in Fallout: New Vegas RTX

The Mojave is looking very different in the latest Fallout: New Vegas RTX preview, but the biggest news may be what its creator says is happening behind the scenes. Kim2091 reports that performance has more than doubled while several longstanding bugs have been addressed, alongside new images and a short look at the path-traced renderer.
Those numbers come from the developer's own setup, not independent benchmarks, and additional texture packs contribute to some of the showcased surfaces. Optimization continues, Tale of Two Wastelands support remains untested, and there's still no public release. It's an encouraging progress report for a visually ambitious project, not something players can install today.
