Raising the Bar: Arena takes Half-Life 2's cut-content revival into multiplayer

Half-Life 2's rescued and reimagined cut-content arsenal finally has somewhere to settle arguments. Raising the Bar: Arena takes the restoration project's weapons into multiplayer, with six deathmatch maps and a cooperative mode built around holding off waves of Combine. It's a chance to use that unusual gear against something other than the familiar campaign.
Bots and peer-to-peer hosting make it possible to jump in without organizing a full server. Arena is a playable multiplayer offshoot, not a replacement for the main Raising the Bar Redux project, and its focus is refreshingly clear: give those weapons a proper place to fight.
