SubnautiCraft puts Minecraft inside Subnautica’s ocean

Minecraft and Subnautica have both inspired countless survival adventures, but dacotin2's SubnautiCraft takes the crossover idea remarkably literally. The project runs Minecraft alongside Subnautica, placing Steve and Minecraft's gameplay systems inside Planet 4546B's underwater environment. Blocks can be placed on the seafloor and in caves, Minecraft creatures can encounter Subnautica wildlife, and familiar equipment is reinterpreted across the two games.
It's a fascinating technical experiment rather than a simple texture conversion. Minecraft handles movement, inventory, and crafting while Subnautica supplies the world, oxygen, depth, and vehicles. Both games must run together, using a Fabric component on the Minecraft side and BepInEx on the Subnautica side. The early release also skips certain cinematic interactions and cannot accommodate Fabricator recipes exceeding Minecraft's crafting grid. Still, the idea of Steve piloting a Seamoth is difficult not to appreciate.
