Subnautica's ocean surface can now trade its familiar skies for rain, lightning and a star-filled night without installing the larger Titan's Wall collection. Midnight Weather combines animated storms with a rotating sky of stars and small galaxies, aiming for atmosphere rather than extra danger: its lightning does no damage, and there's no camera shake penalty.

Automatic mode cycles between 40 minutes of ordinary weather and 20 minutes of Midnight Weather, independently of the game's clock. A switch on Gun Island allows manual control. The standalone mod doesn't need Epic Weather, but Titan's Wall users should not install it separately: that collection already contains the same feature as Midnight Zone, and the two conflict.
