Minecraft's bTARDIS Lets You Build a Life Inside Your Own TARDIS

A battered old British police box sitting in the middle of nowhere. Doesn't look like much, does it? But if you're a Doctor Who fan, you know damn well that stepping through those doors means you're about to enter something that makes absolutely no sense according to the laws of physics. An entire spaceship, capable of traveling through time and space, somehow crammed inside a little blue box. And after more than sixty years, the whole "bigger on the inside" thing is still one of the coolest ideas science fiction has ever given us.
Now imagine having one of those in Minecraft, where the laws of physics have never exactly been a priority.
NVIRA's bTARDIS brings that dream into Minecraft's old Beta-era world. You get your own TARDIS with an interior you can expand and customize, a time vortex you actually have to navigate, and a Gallifreyan Citadel where you can take on missions and build your reputation. There's even regeneration, because why settle for owning a time machine when you can become a Time Lord yourself?
And yes, the Weeping Angels are here. Those creepy stone bastards that made an entire generation of Doctor Who fans suspicious of statues can interfere with your travels, send you somewhere else in time, and even steal your TARDIS. Think about that for a second. You spend hours making the perfect interior, getting everything just right, and some stone-faced nightmare makes off with your entire ship.
The choice to build this for Minecraft's Beta era is an interesting one. There's a certain charm to seeing something this elaborate take shape in the simpler, blockier Minecraft many of us remember from its earliest days. And for Doctor Who fans, getting to build a little corner of Gallifrey inside that world is a pretty entertaining proposition.
Just remember the Doctor's advice when you're out exploring. Don't blink.
