Torrential makes fishing gear matter in Minecraft: Java Edition 26.3

Fishing in Minecraft can be a relaxing break from mining and building, but Torrential gives players a little more to think about when casting a line. Its expanded equipment system uses interchangeable hooks, lines, and sinkers to influence fishing speed, catch quantities, and treasure chances. Rather than treating the rod as a single disposable tool, the mod makes its individual components the focus of improvement and maintenance.

The 1.1.0 release supports Minecraft Java 26.3 through NeoForge. It also expands how enchantments interact with rod parts, including Mending, Binding, and Vanishing, while adding configuration options. Those enchantments apply to the components, not the rods themselves, and older enchanted equipment may need to convert when updated.
