Finding a great piece of equipment in Dragon's Dogma 2 should be a reason to celebrate. You've spent hours fighting monsters, exploring Vermund and Battahl, and hauled enough loot around to give your poor pawn a permanent back problem. Then you finally get your hands on something worth keeping… only to discover that the ability you really wanted is attached to another piece of gear.

That's annoying.

Spoils Skill Transfer, a mod for Dragon's Dogma 2, tackles that frustration by letting players move skills between compatible pieces of Spoils equipment. Instead of having to choose between the gear you prefer and the ability you want, you get more freedom to put together a setup that actually suits the way you play.

And we think that makes a lot of sense for Dragon's Dogma 2. This is a game where experimenting with different vocations, weapons, and fighting styles is half the fun. Maybe you've spent most of your adventure swinging an enormous greatsword around as a Warrior, or perhaps you prefer hanging back and letting your pawns do the dirty work while you sling spells.

Either way, having more control over your equipment means spending less time fighting the gear system and more time enjoying your character.

The mod doesn't remove the distinction between different equipment types or promise unrestricted skill combinations. It's a more focused change, giving players flexibility within the Spoils system rather than throwing the whole thing out.
