Who needs an oxcart when Dragon's Dogma 2 lets you ride a Griffin?

You know that moment in Dragon's Dogma 2 when a Griffin swoops down, everybody panics, and your carefully planned afternoon goes completely sideways? Well, what if you could skip the fighting and simply ask for a ride? AeIinore's Griffin Journey Redux gives players a summonable, controllable Griffin that can hover, climb, dive, and glide across the landscape. Better yet, your Pawns and accompanying NPCs can come along for the journey, with configurable seating positions and camera options for anyone looking to capture the perfect group photo. Nothing says adventuring party quite like arriving somewhere on the back of an enormous flying monster.
There is, of course, the small matter of actually learning to fly the thing. AeIinore's early beta uses Griffin's Chocolate to summon your new transportation, and the creator recommends doing so somewhere open and uncrowded. Collision detection is still basic, riding behavior can occasionally misbehave, and dismounting at speed is an excellent way to become intimately acquainted with gravity. It's not quite the carefree aerial taxi service you might dream of, but the prospect of taking your entire party sightseeing above Vermund is hard not to love.
