Skyrim has never been short on followers willing to accompany the Dragonborn into danger, but what if those companions had a little more to say about the decisions you make along the way? TheBawb's Warden of the Coast takes inspiration from the party-driven storytelling of Mass Effect and Dragon Age, introducing a fully voiced island adventure built around a group of nine companions with their own loyalty quests. Players can bring three along at a time, develop relationships, and make decisions that affect both their companions and the story's eventual outcome. There are even multiple romance paths and five main endings, because apparently saving the world wasn't complicated enough without managing everyone's feelings, too.

TheBawb estimates roughly 10 to 15 hours for a playthrough, with renewed Oblivion portals and a Daedric threat forming the backdrop to the adventure. It's an established, self-contained quest expansion rather than a new October release, and the author recommends starting with a clean save. Certain location overhauls, including Redbag's Solitude, are incompatible, while bringing outside followers isn't recommended. For players who enjoy Skyrim's world but wish their traveling companions had more meaningful roles in the story, Warden of the Coast is an intriguing departure from the usual solo heroics.
