Portal Stories: Mel gives Portal 2 another story worth solving

Aperture Science has more secrets than one test subject could possibly uncover. Portal Stories: Mel takes players back into its laboratories with a new protagonist, a journey that begins in 1952 and goes badly enough to become an entirely different kind of visit.

Prism Game Studios built a substantial fan campaign around its own mystery, personality core and puzzle designs. Across 22 levels, the emphasis is on understanding each test rather than mastering elaborate physical tricks, with Story Mode offering a more approachable route through the experience. It's a reminder that Portal 2's best ideas left plenty of room for other creators to experiment without losing the series' wonderfully uneasy atmosphere.
