Doom walks into Silent Hill in SilentDOOM

Silent Hill is unsettling enough when you're moving cautiously through its fog. SilentDOOM asks what happens when Doomguy brings his arsenal and first-person perspective into that same nightmare. The early project changes movement and combat presentation while keeping Silent Hill's locations, creatures, puzzles, story and cutscenes.
Getting it running takes more than downloading a mod: players need a working 64-bit Windows installation of the Silent Hill PC Decomp and their own full Doom or Ultimate Doom WAD. Shareware Doom and Doom II aren't supported, and the required game data isn't included. The creator says substantial playtesting remains, so this is a fascinating crossover experiment rather than a polished new way to finish Silent Hill.
