Resident Evil 2's nightmare gets rearranged

Knowing every corridor in Raccoon City's police station won't save you from Resurgence of the Dead Shadows. This Resident Evil 2 overhaul rearranges progression, changes enemy and item placement and opens additional spaces. Its Enhanced Edition goes further, revising much of the later enemy lineup and adding guidance to selected puzzles.

Difficulty also changes the crowd, with fewer enemies on Easy and more dogs and Tyrants on Hard. The author warns players not to enter Ghost Survivors before starting, because doing so may remove some mod content. It's a deliberately unfamiliar campaign for veterans who want their old survival instincts tested again.
