Purple-star terrain spreads across No Man's Sky

The strange landscapes introduced for No Man's Sky's purple-star systems no longer have to stay there. Universal Purple Terrain brings those landforms to other planets and moons, opening up combinations such as purple-system terrain beneath planetary rings.
That freedom comes with a serious caveat for anyone who has built a home. Changing terrain can leave bases buried or floating, and multiplayer visitors without the mod will still see the original ground. The creator provides options for different generations of planets and says uninstalling restores the old terrain, but players should back up important saves and check for conflicts with other world-generation mods first.
