Night City has plenty of things that can ruin your day. Gang violence, corporate assassins, cyberpsychos... and, thanks to the modding community, the possibility of running out of gas on the way to your next job.
Better Fuel System Reloaded brings Ant1Van's vehicle fuel mechanics back into active development through a community continuation by Lapin Blanc and Angie7938. Cars consume fuel based on driving behavior, owned vehicles remember their fuel levels, and PETROCHEM stations become actual places to stop rather than scenery you blast past at 150 miles an hour.
The Reloaded release concentrates on fixing problems with fuel displays and consumption during passenger rides, restoring the gauge when switching vehicles, and expanding language and keyboard-layout support. Players moving from the original mod need to uninstall it before installing this continuation. It's a relatively modest update to an existing idea, but seeing somebody pick up an abandoned project and keep it alive is always welcome. Especially when the alternative is being stranded somewhere in Pacifica.
