MaxTac knows how to make an entrance. That much has never been in doubt. But what happens when Night City's heavily armed cleanup crew has finished making somebody's afternoon considerably worse? Immersive MaxTac, from modder 2108942770, gives those encounters a proper departure. The unit's aircraft remains hovering above the operation with an expanded red landing projection, and once the immediate threat is cleared, a withdrawal order brings the surviving officers back together. Doors open, the squad boards with animated jumps, and the aircraft finally heads off to wherever Night City's next catastrophe happens to be unfolding.
If the entire squad is eliminated, the aircraft leaves without waiting for anybody. It's a small behavioral detail, but it makes MaxTac feel more like a functioning tactical organization instead of a collection of enemies that appears solely for a firefight. At publication, the mod was developed around Cyberpunk 2077 version 2.31, while compatibility with other police and dispatch changes had not been established. A little more ceremony on the way out gives these encounters a welcome sense of continuity.
