7 Days to Die finally gives survivors a reason to get some sleep

You can build a fortress, stockpile ammunition, and survive the worst that 7 Days to Die throws at you, but apparently finding somewhere decent to sleep is still a luxury. iiMothMan’s Sleepy Nights changes that by letting players turn existing beds into personal spawn points, complete with map markers and the usual protection against nearby zombie spawning. Hospital beds, bunk beds, mattresses, and even those suspiciously comfortable beds you find while scavenging can finally serve a more practical purpose.
In single-player, survivors can also sleep through the night, provided there aren’t hostile creatures nearby or a Blood Moon underway. Getting enough rest earns a temporary experience bonus, although sleeping consumes food and water, so it isn’t exactly a free vacation. Multiplayer retains the bed and spawn-point functionality without skipping time. It’s a surprisingly sensible addition to a survival game where exhaustion seems like it ought to be a much bigger concern.
