The Zone isn't exactly a place where you'd expect polished tourist signage. NiutoN's Hand-drawn Map Markers gives S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 a rougher, more personal cartographic style, replacing familiar map symbols with illustrated icons that look more at home on a field map.

The creator recommends pairing the markers with Commandoby's separate Topographic Map, which provides the background seen in the selected screenshot. That distinction matters because the map itself isn't part of NiutoN's project. It's a small visual customization, but one that can change the feel of a screen players consult constantly while exploring the Zone.
