Snow can betray you in Project Zomboid

Fresh snow in Project Zomboid can now tell you who passed through and what happened along the way. Immersive Snow adds tracks from Build 42 animals, bloody footprints from wounded survivors and zombies, and red tire marks when vehicles roll over corpses. Repeated footsteps gradually wear more persistent paths into the white.
Heat changes the scene too. Fires thaw nearby snow, while warm engines can melt it from compatible vehicle hoods, though stock cars with a shared hood-and-body mesh don't get that effect. Individual features can be toggled, and the mod follows the game's weather rather than imposing constant winter. It's environmental storytelling written directly into the ground.
