Anyone who's spent time making videos with GTA V's Rockstar Editor knows that capturing the perfect shot is only part of the job. Once you've staged the action, positioned your cameras, and finished editing, you still need to get that footage out of the game and into whatever software you're using to finish the project.

EVEM, created by manuelmaster, gives GTA V filmmakers more control over that process. Building on the earlier EVE and EVER projects, it expands Rockstar Editor's export options with custom frame rates, motion-blur controls, and additional formats, including ProRes and individual image sequences.

There's also a separate preset editor, with support for importing existing presets. That's useful for creators who already have preferred export settings and don't want to rebuild them every time they work on something new. Whether you're making a cinematic trailer, a machinima project, or simply putting together a particularly elaborate GTA video, having more flexibility during export can make the editing process considerably easier.

The mod supports GTA V Legacy and FiveM, while the Enhanced branch remains experimental. Some Enhanced clips may freeze, and features such as ReShade effects and OpenEXR export aren't currently available there. The latest update also addresses stuttering and excessive crash-report generation in FiveM.

It's a practical improvement for a part of GTA filmmaking that doesn't always get much attention. Creating the footage is the fun part, but getting it into your editing workflow without fighting the export process is pretty important, too.
