A mod library is much more useful when it doesn't depend on where you bought the game. Transport Fever 3 has launched with a mod.io-powered hub built into its PC and console editions, giving players one place to browse community creations rather than splitting the catalog between storefronts. Steam Workshop isn't part of the plan, although PC and Mac players can still install mods manually.
There is a boundary to that cross-platform promise. At launch, saves uploaded from PC through the hub cannot be downloaded on consoles; Urban Games says that compatibility is planned for later. A shared collection is a meaningful step for console modding, but it isn't yet a seamless way to carry the same transport empire between machines.
