Pick a difficulty and head back into one of six Kashyyyk instances in SWG Restoration's A New Dawn update. Repeatable runs and daily resets are part of the October 24 release on the nonprofit Star Wars Galaxies fan project's Live service, with further balance changes expected.
Players with AVX2-capable processors can also try an optional, experimental DirectX 12 renderer with DLSS, FSR and XeSS support. The regular 64-bit client remains available; 32-bit launching is unsupported. The project's FAQ documents an AMD visual workaround and a UI-scaling display bug.
Install Restoration in a separate empty folder, not over another Star Wars Galaxies installation. Windows 10 or newer is officially supported; Linux and Steam Deck remain unofficial.
The Galactic Trade Network gets unified listings, although vendor items still mean a trip to the actual vendor. Mount training and basic mounted attacks are also part of A New Dawn.
