The Sims 4’s Immersive World Map goes public, putting its scattered worlds on one map

The Sims 4’s scattered worlds look like they belong to the same planet now. SimMattically’s Immersive World Map has left paid early access for its free public release, replacing the separate world bubbles with an illustrated landscape of cities, mountains and islands. Animated clouds, adjustable tooltips and a pin for your active household give the overhaul more purpose than a pretty backdrop.
It’s a new way to choose where you’re going, not an open-world conversion. The mod works with the base game, leaving worlds from packs you don’t own non-interactive. It also replaces the need for SimMattically’s Better World Select, so those two shouldn’t be installed together.
