Seeker of Fire gives Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin a less familiar Drangleic

For some people, finishing Dark Souls II is an achievement worth celebrating. For others, it's apparently an invitation to rearrange half of Drangleic and see how badly they can confuse everyone who thought they knew the place.
Aoi Yozora's Seeker of Fire reworks the journey through Scholar of the First Sin with altered routes, new connections between areas, rearranged enemies and items, and changes to boss encounters. Familiar locations can lead somewhere unexpected, while revised weapon movesets, powerstance attacks, and combat adjustments give returning players plenty to relearn. Even the bosses have gotten some attention, because naturally, surviving them the first time wasn't enough.
There's an important warning here, though. The creator's main archive had an online-access issue, and a separate offline correction was supplied in October 2026. Players should follow the creator's offline instructions carefully, because taking modified save data online can risk a softban. A separate Seamless Co-op variant is also available, but it isn't meant to be combined with the main version.
For anyone who remembers every ambush, shortcut, and miserable surprise Drangleic has to offer, Seeker of Fire provides a rather compelling opportunity to discover just how much you've forgotten. And probably die finding out.
