Quake II's PSX Jam 2 brings moving machinery and a 1998 map back into the fight

The Quake II mapping scene has a long memory, and PSX Jam 2 puts that history to work. Built around Paril's Quake II PSX mod, the 11-map collection leans into machinery, electricity, lasers and industrial spaces. Its PlayStation-themed hub even has a boss encounter, making the trip between levels part of the attraction.
There's a particularly nice surprise tucked away in the secret map: Shartuterie's remaster of Roger Staines' Versicolored Vermination, originally released in 1998. That makes this more than a new set of arenas. It's a meeting point between today's community creators and a piece of the game's earliest modding history.
