Splinter Cell: Blacklist's co-op missions can finally be played alone with Solo Coop

There's a particular kind of frustration that comes with revisiting an older game and discovering that some of its content is still locked behind multiplayer requirements. Especially when all you want to do is play the damn thing without having to find somebody else who's available on a Tuesday night.
GraveyardFlower's Solo Coop mod for Splinter Cell: Blacklist does something about that, allowing players to complete all four of the game's co-op-only missions on their own, without connecting to a server or setting up a VPN. The mod adjusts the mission logic around things like double doors, cooperative boosts, rappelling sections, and checkpoints so one player can actually make it through the whole experience. Enemies still function, and the creator says the old server-connection crashes have been addressed, too.
There are a couple of quirks left over from the original design. Briggs still talks during missions despite not being there, and some doors and lifts don't animate quite the way they're supposed to. The mod can also conflict with other additions using the same `dinput8.dll` file.
But for anyone who's been wanting to revisit Blacklist and finally experience those missions without recruiting a second operative, this is a pretty welcome bit of preservation work. Sam Fisher has always been rather good at operating alone, anyway.
