Photo Mode Plus gives Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered players a whole lot more creative freedom

Horizon Zero Dawn is one of those games where you can spend an embarrassing amount of time just looking at the scenery. The mountains, the forests, the machines wandering around doing their thing, and of course Aloy herself, who always seems to find herself standing somewhere that would make a pretty spectacular screenshot.
Ewanhowell5195's Photo Mode Plus gives players a whole lot more freedom to capture those moments in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. The mod expands the game's existing photo tools with additional camera controls, character positioning, outfit selection, and even the ability to manipulate lighting by adjusting the time of day and rotating the sky. You can move the camera without the usual distance and collision restrictions, adjust where Aloy is looking, change her pose, and hide equipment that might be getting in the way of the perfect shot.
There's even the option to move Aloy herself around within a limited area, which opens up some pretty entertaining possibilities for staging pictures. The creator's own screenshots include Aloy peeking out of a barrel, so apparently we're not limiting ourselves to majestic mountain portraits here.
The mod requires the remastered PC edition and two separate loaders, and the creator says the changes revert when you leave photo mode. An update has also addressed camera-roll positioning and a black-screen issue when opening photo mode in settlements.
For anyone who enjoys virtual photography, or just likes stopping every fifteen minutes to admire how beautiful Horizon can be, this gives you plenty more ways to get creative. And if you end up spending more time taking pictures than actually saving the world, well, we certainly won't judge.
