Cooking Simulator gets multiplayer, so now your friends can help ruin dinner

Cooking Simulator was already pretty good at turning a perfectly ordinary meal into an absolute disaster. Give somebody a kitchen full of ingredients, knives, hot pans, and appliances, and sooner or later something's going to end up on the floor.
Now imagine letting your friends into that kitchen.
Xjakeox's Cooking Simulator Multiplayer brings unofficial co-op to the original game, allowing players to share a kitchen, prepare orders, and work with the same ingredients and equipment. The creator describes synchronized chopping, cooking, seasoning, pouring, spills, cleaning, appliances, and even equipment wear. Players appear as different colored chefs, while orders and money are shared through the host's game. You can also increase the number of simultaneous orders as more people join, assuming your little culinary operation isn't already in complete chaos.
Steam friend invites make connecting easier, although direct-IP play is available as well. The host controls the kitchen, saves, and career progression, and everybody needs the same mod version along with any DLC used by the host. This is also a Windows-only setup requiring BepInEx 5 and the specified networking dependency.
For anyone who's ever wanted to run a restaurant with friends, this sounds like a wonderfully entertaining way to discover which one of you should never be allowed near a stove. And unlike a real restaurant, at least nobody's livelihood is riding on whether you remembered to take the fish out of the oven.
