BeamNG.drive's Racing Line mod now helps you navigate ordinary roads, not just racetracks

Anybody who's spent time in BeamNG.drive knows that going fast is the easy part. Keeping the car pointed in the right direction, preferably with all four wheels still attached, is where things can get a little more complicated.
BurnRed's Racing Line mod already gave players visual guidance around circuits, but its latest update takes that idea beyond the racetrack. You can now select a destination on the map and have the mod draw a suggested route directly onto the road, complete with colored guidance showing when to accelerate, coast, or start braking. Green means go, yellow means ease off, and red means you might want to reconsider how quickly you're approaching that next corner.
There's also a new option for creating custom loops from navigation routes, letting players turn ordinary stretches of road into improvised circuits. The mod uses BeamNG's existing road network and learns braking and lateral-force behavior as you drive, although the creator acknowledges that its early braking recommendations won't always be particularly accurate.
It's still experimental, and the documented release targets BeamNG.drive 0.39. But for players who enjoy taking their driving a little more seriously, or who simply want to practice without repeatedly introducing their car to the nearest guardrail, Racing Line offers a pretty useful bit of assistance.
