Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s Blight gets a considerably nastier makeover

The Blight in Dragon Age: The Veilguard was never going to win any awards for cleanliness, but Punygoddess apparently looked at all that corruption and decided it could stand to be a little more disgusting. Fleshier Blight replaces nearly a hundred Blight and darkspawn-related visual assets, giving the game’s corrupted environments and creatures a more fleshy, organic appearance. The result is a visual direction that leans harder into the body-horror side of Dragon Age’s world, where the scenery itself can look like something you’d rather not touch.
This is a texture-focused project, so don’t expect new enemies, quests, or changes to how the Blight behaves. Punygoddess has kept the replacement textures at their original dimensions and expects the mod to be relatively performance-friendly, although that hasn’t been independently benchmarked. It’s a straightforward visual overhaul with a clear artistic intention: make the corruption look every bit as unpleasant as the story suggests it ought to be.
